====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-05-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in Town P. S. Case No. 68 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(2), 190, 191(2), 191(3), 109, 103(1), 329(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per F.I.R., this petitioner along with other accused persons assaulted the brother of informant with sword as a result of which, he died during course of treatment.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Allegation of assault is general and omnibus. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19530 of 2026(2) dt.05-05-2026 2/2 the bail application and submitted that petitioner is one of the assailants of the deceased and as per post-mortem report, deceased sustained 19 injuries.

6. Considering the nature and seriousness of accusation and post-mortem report, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
