Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the institution in question is centrally funded institution and as such the petitioner is entitled to continue as teacher upto the age of 65 years in terms of the UGC regulation. Without going into the merit of the aforesaid contention, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent University, which shall look into the claim of the petitioner and appropriately decide the

The petitioner shall be at liberty to raise whatever grounds are available in support of his claim before the concerned authority.
