2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 187 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 109, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have fired at the victim, causing two gunshot injuries.

4. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 01.12.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. I have considered the submissions of the parties and have gone through the records of the case. There is sufficient material available on record to connect the petitioner with the crime.

7. Considering the direct allegation of firing against the petitioner which has been supported by the Medical Report, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected for the present.

8. If the prosecution delays the trial, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
