Petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 123 of 2018 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2018 in connection with seizure of liquor. He submits that liquor was seized allegedly from the joint possession.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated merely on suspicion as nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner while he was arrested by the police.
