2. This writ application has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to pay compensation to the petitioners at the present market rate of the land, acquired in the year 1975-76 by the respondent no. 4.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners requests for disposal of the writ application granting liberty to the petitioners to file representation before the competent authority i.e. respondent no. 3 / District Magistrate, Patna for redressal of their grievance.

4. Needless to say that if such representation is filed, the authority concerned is directed to dispose of the same after hearing the parties in accordance with law, preferably within a period six months from the date of filing of such representation.

5. With above observation and direction, the writ application stands disposed of.
