The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 41 of 2019 arising out of Barbigha P.S. Case No. 43 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 354(B), 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(c) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 16.02.2019. He further submits that allegation against the petitioner is outraging the modesty of wife of the informant. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing
