The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Liquor was recovered from the railway platform and it is alleged that the same was of the petitioner. The petitioner was caught red handed on the spot. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 29.12.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete. Considering the submission aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14926 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Excise Case No.569 of 2019, arising out of Rail Kiul P.S. Case No.220 of 2019, with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
