Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 396 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR of the occurrence of dacoity is against unknown. Name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Ram Sewak Yadav. Ram Sewak Yadav has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.Misc. No.21224 of 2017. The police has reported about criminal antecedent of the petitioner which resulted in acquittal vide Sessions Trial No.13 of 2014 on 04.06.2015.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51442 of 2017 (6) dt.20-03-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Laukahi Police Station Case No.131 of 2016 corresponding to G.R.No.1251 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
