The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 08/2023 registered for the offence under 30(a),32(i)/32(ii)/36/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 07.01.2023 and there is recovery of 153.000 liters of foreign liquor.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

No.17848 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 after completion of six months in custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise-II, Muzaffarpur in connection with Kanti P.S.
