2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 41 and 56 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 12.96 litres of illicit foreign made liquor has been recovered from a Scooty.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. He further submits that petitioner is not the registered owner of the said Scooty, rather he had purchased the same from its registered owner namely, Jitesh Singh on 22.02.2022 through a non-judicial stamp of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only). He

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the bail petition and submits that petitioner carries one criminal antecedent of similar nature and registration of vehicle is still in the name of petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that petitioner carries one criminal antecedent of similar nature, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Shahnawaz/- U T
