JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 24-01-2018 Pursuant to the order dated 10.1.2018 the Jail Superintendent, Vaishali at Hajipur and Jail Superintendent, Muzaffarpur are present in Court. It has been informed by them that now accused has been produced before the court on 6.1.2018 and now he is in Hajipur District jail.
In such view of the matter, this application is disposed of with a direction to learned trial court to expedite the trial on day to day basis and at the same time Superintendent of Police, Vaishali at Hajipur is directed to ensure the presence of the witnesses in court as and when required so that the trial be concluded within a period of four months from the receipt of this order. It is made clear that during the period the petitioner should not be sent to another jail till conclusion of trial, otherwise
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57888 of 2017 (5) dt.24-01-2018 2/2 trial shall be hampered.
The aforesaid directions must be strictly complied and monthly reports regarding progress of trial must be submitted by the trial court and Superintendent of Police, Vaishali so that this Court may aware about the progress of trial.
Office is directed to place the case for Orders as and when report is received.
The personal appearance of the said police officers is dispensed with.
