JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 08-11-2017 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner has been rejected vide Annexure-1 with direction to expedite the trial. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for more than one year and no progress has been made in the trial. Total 4.750 Kg. ganja is alleged to have been recovered from his possession.

Heard the learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances of the case, stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude within a period of seven months considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody for more than one year, if not concluded, the petitioner is at liberty to
