====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-05-2023 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State.

Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 269, 270, 271, 341, 323, 307, 332, 353, 427, 431 of the Indian Penal Code.

A young girl was killed in a road accident and for that, the villagers had blocked road and had disturbed the free-flow of the traffic. The Police party also was attacked. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that about 24 persons have been named in the F.I.R. and about 50 persons have been made accused as unnamed. It is next

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16672 of 2023(2) dt.19-05-2023 2/2 submitted that allegation against these petitioners is general and omnibus. It is further submitted that similarly situated coaccused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 16.04.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 38080 of 2020. Petitioners have got clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Araria in connection with Raniganj P. S. Case No. 295 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
