The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 1578 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32 and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 12.12.2022 and there is a recovery of 691.200 liters of illicit liquor.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
