The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 304B and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. She is Gotini of the deceased and is separate in mess and business. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and no specific overt act has been alleged against her. Learned counsel appearing for the State as well as the informant oppose the prayer for bail.

In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks, let the petitioner mentioned above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in Bachhwara Police Station Case No. 152 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
