2. By means of this writ petition the petitioner is seeking a direction to issue appointment letter to the petitioner for the post

Patna High Court CWJC No.4615 of 2023 dt.25-07-2024 2/3 of Associate Professor, Electronics and Communications Engineering in the Government Engineering College under the respondent-Science and Technology Department as per the recommendation made by the Bihar Public Service Commission vide result dated 07.03.2022, which result was published pursuant to the advertisement No. 23/2020 issued by the BPSC.

Mr. Jagteshwar Prasad, learned counsel representing the State has submitted that the reliefs sought for by the petitioner has been granted by the respondents by issuing an order of appointment contained in Memo No. 3143 dated 23.07.2024, issued under the signature of Joint Secretary, Science and Technology Department, Government of Bihar, whereby the petitioner has been appointed as Associate Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering and has been posted at the Government Engineering College, Buxar.

4. A copy of the said appointment letter has been produced by the learned counsel for the State which has been kept on record and shall form a part of the record. Learned counsel shall also hand over a copy of the said appointment letter to the learned counsel for the Petitioner.
