Dr. Mayanand Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner admits that necessary correction in the PPO has been made and revised PPO has also been issued by the Accountant General, but the Treasury Officer, Samastipur is not making payment of the revised pension to the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Treasury Officer, Samastipur to ensure payment of the revised pension of the petitioner in terms of revised PPO within a maximum period of one month from the
Patna High Court CWJC No.5008 of 2020(2) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. In the event, the dues are not paid to the petitioner, the petitioner shall be entitled to payment of interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of filing of writ petition i.e. 04.03.2020 till the date of actual payment and the interest component shall be realized from the pocket of Treasury Officer, Samastipur.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
