The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 358 of 2017 under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant alleged that while she had gone to Court to attend her case, her father-in-law and brother-in-law called her and asked her to withdraw the case. The informant refused, but, her father-in-law and brother-in-law misbehaved with her and also assaulted her mother. The informant alleged that at the instance of her in-laws, the petitioner has been keeping watch over the informant.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an Advocate Clerk. The petitioner was not even present at the time of occurrence, but, the informant made only allegation that he has been keeping watch over her. Considering the facts, aforesaid, and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48998 of 2017 (2) dt.17-10-2017 2/2 receipt of this order, he is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 358 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
