2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 209 of 2023 (G.R. No. 1047 of 2023) lodged under Sections 304B and 34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, the F.I.R. has been lodged against eight named accused persons including the petitioner with an allegation of killing the daughter of the informant for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is the maternal-grand-father of the husband of the deceased and is aged about 65 years. The husband of the

No.18915 of 2024(3) dt.08-05-2024 2/2 deceased is in custody and his bail application has been rejected by this Hon'ble Court with liberty to renew his prayer for bail nine months after framing of the charge. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 03.11.2023 having clean antecedent.

6. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, West Champaran, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 437(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
