2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 127(2), 115(2), 308(2), 308(5), 3(5) of the BNS.

The case of the prosecution is that while the informant was going on his vehicle, his vehicle was overtaken by the vehicle of Maker Thana and in the name of search of wine in the car, informant and his driver were taken away from the car and the car was checked. It has also been mentioned that in the vehicle of Police Station, S.H.O., Maker, Ravi Ranjan Kumar and his driver Anil Kumar were in the vehicle and both were in the uniform and during checking of the car, two bags containing

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. He has got no criminal antecedent. It is also submitted that the informant was intercepted by the police and he was asked about the huge amount of cash, but he was not able to give any sufficient reply. He also submits that in this case, thirty two lakhs rupees have been recovered from the possession of the driver. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner. From perusal of the seizure list, it transpires that the recovery was from the behind the chowki of driver, Anil Kumar. Petitioner is a government servant. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 11.01.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Maker P.S. Case No. 05 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of
