This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Jamui P.S.Case No.402/16 for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is of committing dowry death. Petitioner appears to be husband. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that she has committed suicide by setting her on fire. The petitioner is in custody for six months.
Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has not informed the police about the same and that shows his conduct. Apart from
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52774 of 2017 (3) dt.22-11-2017 2/2 that there is other allegation of demand and torture. Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is in custody, the learned trial court is directed to commit the case and after commitment expedite the trial.
With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
