The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. In pursuance to the order dated 04.08.2021, status report of trial in connection with Pipara P.S. Case No. 143 of 2020 has been received and kept at Flag-R, in which it is reported that charge has been framed against six accused including the accused Subhash Kumar. It is further stated that out of four charge-sheet witnesses, three have already been examined.

Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Pipara P.S. Case No. 143 of 2020 pending before the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistate, Supaul.

However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months from the date of initiation of normal physical proceeding and /or through Video Conferencing.
