2. The petitioner has prayed for grant of the following reliefs:
(i) to direct the Respondent no. 3 (District Magistrate- cum-Appellate Authority, Gaya to disposed of Forest Confiscation Appeal Case No. 01 of 2022 which is still pending since 22.06.2022 which was filed against the order dated 28.05.2022 passed by the authorized Officer-cum-D.F.O., Gaya (Respondent no. 4) in Confiscation
Patna High Court CWJC No.4933 of 2023(2) dt.11-07-2024 2/2 Case no. 06 of 2022 (State Versus Ansarul Haque and others);
(ii) to direct the respondent no. 3 to release the vehicle during pendency of Confiscation Appeal No. 01 of 2022 either on sureties or bank guarantee as deem fit and proper;
(iii) for issuance of an appropriate writ(s), direction as found fit and proper for interest of justice.

Considering the simple prayer of the petitioner to direct the respondent no.3, the District Magistrate, Gaya to dispose of Forest Confiscation Appeal Case No. 01 of 2022, the same is disposed of directing the concerned respondent no.3 to take up the matter, consider, after hearing the parties, take the same to its logical conclusion, if it has not been disposed, preferably within a period of four months from the date the copy of the order is provided to him.
