JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-04-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the complainant. The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Complaint Case No. 2849C of 2013 in which cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been contended that it is out and out a civil dispute for which criminal prosecution has been launched just to put pressure in order to extract money.

Learned counsel for the complainant has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

No.35945 of 2014 (2) dt.01-04-2015 2/2 Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within four weeks from today, the petitioner Rajeev Ranjan Kumar @ Rajeev is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Praveen Kumar, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Patna in Complaint Case No.2849C of 2013, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
