1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For that Ist ACP as well as IIIrd ACP may be granted to the Petitioner since during service period of 37 years no such ACP has been granted to the Petitioner.
(ii) For that the arrear of IInd ACP may granted to the petitioner since though IInd ACP has been

(iii) For that salary of ten month during suspension period from dated 14.04.1981 to 06.2.1982 may be given since prior to retirement no such salary was made to the petitioner.
(iv) For that arrear of three ACP may be given to the Petitioner of the Post of V.L.W. and several upgraded post because same arrear has not been given till today and his salary was affected due to not granting ACP."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
