25-05-2016 The petitioners apprehend their arrest in relation to Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 76 of 2016 registered under Sections 370(A)(1), 354(A), 365, 342, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioners being husband and wife.
The allegation in the First Information Report is that the informant's sister and two other girls, who were part of a dance group, were confined at home by the petitioners. The statement of the petitioners under Section 164 Cr.P.C. was also recorded.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the girls, who were engaged on advance payment, refusing to contractual obligation and hence the dispute.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22596 of 2016 (2) dt.25-05-2016 2 / 2 They have deliberately lodged the false case to pressurize the petitioners.
Be that as it may, in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within four weeks, let the petitioners, namely, Gobardhan Mahto and Rani Devi, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 76 of 2016, subject to conditions laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
