Petitioners, already in custody since 25.02.2018, seek bail in connection with Nabinagar P.S. Case No.47 of 2018 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 354, 435, 353, 332, 333, 379, 427, 504 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that due to death of a child in road accident, large number of local people were making protest and blocked the road and movement of traffic, when the police reached there, it is alleged that they also assaulted the police
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38415 of 2018(2) dt.04-07-2018 2/2 personnel and injuries were caused to them and set fire to the police jeep and the vehicle involved in the accident. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is no specific accusation against the petitioners, they are not the family member of the child who was killed in road accident, large number of villagers have been implicated in this case and the petitioners bear clean antecedent.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Aurangabad in connection with Nabinagar P.S. Case No.47 of 2018.
