JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-06-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the licence of the petitioner was suspended vide Annexure 2 in view of his involvement in a criminal case and also in view of ensuing Lok Sabha election. The petitioner, thereafter, submitted reply to the show-cause notice and also filed an application for revocation of suspension of the firearm licence vide Annexures 4 and 6 but no decision has been taken as yet.

Accordingly, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Siwan, i.e., respondent no. 2, to take a final decision upon the

Patna High Court CWJC No.8081 of 2016 dt.20-06-2016 application of filed by the petitioner for revocation of suspension of the firearm licence on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
