JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 12-04-2023 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 07.07.2022 passed in Criminal Appeal (SJ) No. 269 of 2022 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner could not furnish the bail bonds on time since he was going under treatment.

Since, vide order dated 07.07.2022, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail whereas, the present modification petition seeking extension of time was filed on 28.3.2023, the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs. 10,000/- before the District Legal Services Authority, Saran.

Accordingly, the period of surrender is extended

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20475 of 2023(3) dt.12-04-2023 2/2 further for a period of four weeks from today. The bail bonds of the petitioner will be accepted by the learned Court below on showing receipt of deposit of Rs. 10,000/- before the concerned D.L.S.A..

The order dated 07.07.2022 passed in Criminal Appeal (SJ) No. 269 of 2022 stands modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, the petition stands allowed.
