1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present writ application is being filed for issuance a writ in the nature of writ of

Patna High Court CWJC No.4372 of 2024(3) dt.17-12-2024 2/3 mandamus, commanding and directing the concerned respondents to make an enquiry and take appropriate legal action against all concerned respondents/authorities/staffs and Brokers/Dallals of wine/liquor/Sarab Mafia, in connection with Brahampura Police Station, after going through Brahampura P.S. Case No.344 of 2023 registered on 29.12.2023, under section 30(a) & 37 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act 2016/2022 (amended), which is pending in the Court of Exclusive Special Court Excise-I, Muzaffarpur, in which an innocent & prestigious person, i.e. son of the petitioner namely Santosh Kumar has been falsely implicated alongwith one another person and the real facts will be clear & evident from the C.C.T.V.

Footage of Brahampura Police Station and the place near Sanjay Cinema Hall, as well as from the call details of the entire staff/police personnel/Sub Inspectors/Inspector from 29.12.2023 to 31.12.2023. Be further be pleased to direct the concerned respondents to give proper legal protection and delete/remove the name of the Son of the Petitioner namely Santosh Kumar from Brahampura P.S. Case No.344 of 2023, after making a fresh enquiry."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks

Patna High Court CWJC No.4372 of 2024(3) dt.17-12-2024 3/3 liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of approaching the respondent no.5 i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
