2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, which was earlier rejected vide order dated 3.7.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 66076 of 2022 with a direction to trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest.

4. In compliance of order dated 13.03.2024, a progress report dated 19.03.2024 has been received from which it appears that trial is likely to be concluded within a period of nine months.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21751 of 2024(3) dt.02-05-2024 2/2 trial is not likely to be concluded in near future. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 27.7.2022.

6. There is no new ground to reconsider the bail application of the petitioner. In that view of the matter, this application stands disposed off.

7. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months positively, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
