The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kumarkhand (Belari O.P.) P.S. Case No.37 of 2017, giving rise to S.T. No.137 of 2017, a case under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned F.T.C. No.I, Madhepura.

Two sisters were married with the petitioner. Allegation is that the petitioner and other family members committed their murder.

Submission is that during investigation it reveals that two sisters had quarreled and both sustained injuries and both died.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49114 of 2017 (4) dt.17-01-2018 P2/ Case-diary would reveal that the villagers have supported the allegation that the petitioner had committed murder of his both wives. Petitioner is in custody since 04.03.2017. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail is refused. The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months, failing which the petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer for bail before the trial judge itself, who shall pass a reasoned order.
