The petitioner in this writ petition seeks relief for payment of retiral benefits.

The State-respondents filed counter-affidavit stating that gratuity, family pension, leave encashment, group insurance have already been paid to the petitioner. Only G.P.F. amount could not be paid to the petitioner because the balance transfer

Patna High Court CWJC No.5927 of 2019(3) dt.16-06-2020 2/2 of the husband of the petitioner is not received. The State had already sent letter for sending the balance transfer of the husband of the petitioner so that the entire G.P.F. amount can be paid to the petitioner.

Having considered the submission of learned counsel for the State-respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to make payment of G.P.F. amount to the petitioner with statutory interest thereon till the date of payment within eight weeks. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
