JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-07-2024 Heard Mr. Alok Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Rabindra Kumar, learned APP for the State and Mr. Ghanshyam Tiwary and Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Arya, learned counsels for the opposite party no.2.

2. The present case relates to strained matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and opposite party no.2 who are husband and wife.

3. It has jointly been prayed by both the parties that the matter be referred to the District Mediation Centre, Madhepura for amicable settlement of dispute between the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20685 of 2024(3) dt.31-07-2024 2/2 parties.

4. The parties are directed to appear before the Mediator on or before 08.08.2024 at 4 P.M.

5. The learned District Court is directed to take appropriate steps in this regard.

6. Learned Mediator is directed to furnish report to the learned District Court within a period of four months.

7. In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to be released on provisional bail on such terms and conditions as the learned District Court deems it fit and proper in connection with Udakishunganj P.S. Case No. 201 of 2023.

8. In case the parties resolve their dispute amicably, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner shall be made absolute by the learned District Court, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

9. In case of failure, interim protection granted to the petitioner by this Court shall lose its force automatically.

10. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the bail application stands disposed of.
