The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No.361 of 2006 instituted for the offence under section 304/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. He is said to have killed his daughter-in-law. 4.

The present F.I.R. is of the year 2006 and the petitioner has been arrested only on 10.01.2026. The anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected by a coordinate Bench of this Court as far back as in the year 2009. 5.

Therefore, it appears that the petitioner is an absconder in a case which has been registered in the year 2006.

Accordingly, the present bail application is rejected.
