The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under sections 272 and 273 and section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is contended that, as per allegation, 246 litres 900 Ml. of Nepali liquor was recovered from a car. It is further contended that petitioner no. 1 is driver and petitioner no. 2 was sitting in the car. Petitioners claim that they are having clean antecedents and are in custody since 12.7.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51706 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Madhubani in connection with Ladaniya P.S. Case No. 124 of 2017.
If the petitioners, after their release in this case, are again found involved in similar nature of cases then the concerned court would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of their bail bonds.
