Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah Member(Legal Profession) : Mrs. Tanuja Mishra, Advocate AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement:

Though nobody has appeared on behalf of the petitioner, learned counsel for the L.N. Mithila University and State have been heard. The grievance of the petitioner relating to non payment of his arrears of salary for the period 1996 to 2005, seems to have been finally settled at the level of the State Government, which is the ultimate pay master, by fixing the salary by the Pay Verification Cell of the State Government. Learned counsel for the State submitted that after the same, the matter has been sent to the L.N. Mithila University which has to make the payment.

As the liability is fully reimbursed by the State Government which has already approved such payment and had sent the matter to the L.N. Mithila University for making actual payment to the petitioner, as has been agreed by learned counsel for the L.N. Mithila University, such dues as approved and sanctioned by the State Government, shall be paid to the petitioner within four weeks from today. The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
