JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 30-06-2016 The petitioner complains that his bill to the tune of Rs. 99,600/- against hiring of his vehicle in between the period 19.4.2011 to 10.7.2011 for the purpose of inspection of anti eroson work on the Saran district embankment near village- Semaria remains pending for payment with the Executive Engineer, Saran Canal Division.

Learned counsel has referred to the representations present at Annexure-7 series to submit that the authorities have been represented but to no avail. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of grievance raised herein, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Executive Engineer respondent No.5 to

Patna High Court CWJC No.8823 of 2016 (2) dt.30-06-2016 2/2 consider the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. In case the claim raised by the petitioner is upheld then the payment be made within the period aforementioned and in case the claim is not upheld then the same should be disposed of by a speaking order to be passed after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of.
