Petitioner seeks bail in Laheria Sarai P.S. Case No.457 of 2019 registered under Sections 307, 353, 387 and 34 of the IPC and under Section 27 of the Arms Act. The informant, who is a police officer, alleged that while he was going towards commercial chowk received information that one shopkeeper was shot dead. The informant saw some persons sitting on 3-4 motorcycles and they were fleeing away towards Gudri Bazar. When the informant with the help of police officials tried to catch the accused person, the accused persons made indiscriminate firing.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Laheria Sarai P.S. Case No.456 of 2019 was registered under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16421 of 2020(2) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC and under section 27 of the Arms Act in which Raunak Singh is said to have fired causing death of Navin Kumar Kasera. Raunak Singh has already been enlarged on bail. No allegation is made against the petitioner. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Having considered the facts and the nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 28.11.2019, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Darbhanga/or his successor in Office in connection with Laheria Sarai P.S. Case No.457 of 2019.
