The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 461 and 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the informant states that various electronic items including laptops etc were stolen by the accused persons from his shop.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation wherein the Investigating Officer has allegedly recorded his confessional statement. It is submitted that neither the petitioner gave any

The petitioner is in custody since 16.2.2021 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case. He has no criminal antecedent. Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the material that has transpired in course of investigation together with the petitioner having remained in custody for 1 year 10 months since 16.2.2021, chargesheet having been submitted in the case and the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Bettiah (M) P.S. Case no. 121 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah.
