The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P.S. Case No. 122/2018 dated 14.04.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 323, 341, 325, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner and about 17 others are alleged to have assaulted one Ram Babu Sah and Jawahar Sah. So far as the petitioner is concerned, he and many others are said to have only assaulted Ram Babu Sah. Specific allegation of assault on Jawahar Sah, who has received grievous injuries, is on others and not the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 18.04.2018. Regard being had to the general nature of allegation

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39591 of 2018 (2) dt.09-07-2018 2/2 against 17 accused persons, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P.S. Case No. 122/2018.
