2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for the payment of compensation amount of his land bearing Khesra No. 634 and 637 situated at village- Rasidpur, District- Sheohar for the purpose of construction of N.H.-104.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his land was taken four and half year back but compensation amount has not been paid nor any process for compensation has

Learned counsel for the State submits that in the latest affidavit which has been filed on 11.09.2023 by the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Sheohar, it has come that the process of acquisition for the petitioner's Khesara No. 634 and 637 has been directed to be initiated as well as it has been decided that petitioner's land comes within the category of residential in nature. Counsel further submits that there is every likelihood that the petitioner shall be called within four weeks with the requisite document and payment shall be assured.

5. In this background and in the light of the undertaking made, this writ petition is disposed off directing the respondent District Land Acquisition Officer, Sheohar to ensure the payment of the petitioner for his land Khesra No. 634 and 637 within two months from the date of production of this order before him.
