Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with other family members committed torture and harassment on the informant due to non-fulfilment of dowry demand. Petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law, petitioner no.2 is the mother-in-law and petitioner no. 3 is the cousin father-in-law of

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioners are separate in mess and business. Thrust of allegation is against the husband of the informant.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 53 of 2020 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
