Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 448, 323, 324, 379, 307, 354B, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

The prosecution case is that the informant was sitting at his shop-cum-house, when accused persons including the petitioner came and on pistol point demanded extortion. It is alleged that co-accused Balister Singh assaulted with dab on the head of the informant. The other accused persons looted cash Rs. 35,000/- and ornaments from the house of the informant. It is further alleged that accused persons also assaulted the sister-in-law of the informant. Co-accused Manoj Singh tore blouse of Antli

On alarm being raised villager Wakil Rai tried to caught hold the co-accused Bajrangi Singh, then he gave lathi blow, causing injury on his head. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that injury has been found to be simple in nature. There is counter version of the occurrence. Two other persons have been granted bail.

The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Maker P.S. Case No. 20 of 2016, pending in the court of learned J.M., Saran at Chapra.

With the above observation this application is disposed of.
