Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within two weeks of the complete start of the physical Court in normal course.

The petitioner, who is in custody since 27.10.2019, seeks regular bail in connection with Mirganj P.S. Case No. 216 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Sections 387 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Considering the report dated 02.02.2022 of learned Successor ACJM-XVI, Gopalganj, this court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage.

The Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj is directed to take sincere efforts to facilitate the trial by getting examined the prosecution witnesses and cooperate with the trial. The court below is directed to conclude the trial within a period of nine months from today. If no considerable progress takes place in the trial, the petitioner if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail.
