The petitioners, namely, Ravi Das @ Ravi Kumar Das @ Ravi Kumar, Amar Das @ Amar Kumar and Bikram Das @ Bikram Kumar, apprehend their arrest in Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 30/2014 registered under Section 354 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant alleged that the petitioners entered into her house and tried to outrage her modesty. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners and the husband of the informant are brothers. The petitioners had gone to the house of the informant to call Preetam Das, the husband of the informant, for participating in Sarswati Puja. They smeared Avir on the body of the informant which
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32857 of 2014 (2) dt.05-02-2015 2/2 infuriated her. However, the case is compromised. Considering the facts that the petitioners are brothers of the husband of the informant and the occurrence took place on the eve of Sarswati Puja, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 30/2014, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 434/2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
