The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Barsoi (Sudhani) P.S. Case No. 33 of 2016 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 354, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the specific allegation made against the petitioner that he not only abused and assaulted the informant but also snatched away gold ear ring and necklace from her daughter-in-law, I am not inclined to grant him prearrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
