The petitioners have grievance(s) that over their Raiyati lands the State-respondents are constructing an RCC
Patna High Court CWJC No.6542 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 road.
It transpires from the materials on record that over the lands, in question, earlier bricks-soling was done under the scheme of the State Government. Now an RCC road is being laid, according to the petitioners.
It is the case of the petitioners that they have approached the authorities, raising their grievance(s), but the construction of the road is still going on.
In my view, in the nature of grievance(s), which the petitioner is raising, they should have approached the Public Grievance Redressal Officer under the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015(for short 'the Act'), by making appropriate application, which they have not done. This writ application is accordingly disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent authority under the Act and seek relief in accordance with law. It is indicated that if any application is made by the petitioners, the same shall be disposed of within the stipulated time under the Act.
