Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273 of the I.P.C. and 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. From the vehicle of this petitioner, huge quantity of foreign liquor was recovered, however, petitioner was not there. Two other person arrested from the vehicle disclosed to the police about their involvement in the business of liquor and they also disclosed name of some others from whose possession also liquor was recovered. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. There is no material to substantiate that petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.

No.14969 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Khanpur P.S. Case No.145 of 2019/Computer Registration No.1250 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
