The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to appoint the petitioner on the post of home guard police force as according to merit list, the name of the petitioner was at serial no.55 and the name of the respondent no.7 was at serial no.57, but at present respondent no.7 is in service and the petitioner is out of service reason best known to the Appointing Authority.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has specifically pleaded in paragraph no.10 that the petitioner has made several

Learned counsel for the State submits that the present writ petition is not maintainable due to the reason that there is no such representation annexed in the writ petition as stated by the counsel for the petitioner in paragraph no.10 of his writ petition that he has made several representations.

5. In light of the submissions made by the parties, this Court directs the petitioner to file fresh representation along with the order passed by this Court and the authority concerned shall pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation filed by the petitioner within 90 days from the date of production of the order along with the fresh representation.

6. Since the general elections of Lok Sabha, 2024 has been notified, the counting of the said 90 days shall be started from the end of the general elections of Lok Sabha, 2024.

7. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is hereby disposed off.
